Congressional Briefing on U.S.-China Relations

The National History Center will hold a Congressional briefing on U.S.-China relations on Monday, March 27, at 10 a.m. in Cannon House Building, Room 122.

While Donald Trump was sharply critical of China during the presidential campaign, the United States and China have long had a tense and tempestuous relationship.  The history of that relationship and its implications for future interactions between the two countries will be addressed by two of the leading historians of China.

Speakers:  Kenneth Pomeranz (University of Chicago) and Jeffrey Wasserstrom (University of California, Irvine)
