Adam Smith: Father of Economics

Please join us as the National Churchill Library and Center welcomes Jesse Norman MP for a discussion of his new biography, Adam Smith: Father of Economics.

Jesse Norman is the Conservative Member of Parliament for Hereford and South Herefordshire, and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Roads, Local Transport and Devolution.  Before his election to Parliament in 2010, he was a director of Barclays and taught at University College London. He is the author of several books, including Edmund Burke: The First Conservative and The Big Society: The Anatomy of the New Politics.
