Churchill’s Spy Files with Nigel West

Please join us as the National Churchill Library and Center welcomes Nigel West for a discussion of his new book, Churchill’s Spy Files, about the wartime prime minister’s relationship with MI5, Britain’s domestic security service.

Nigel West is the pen name of Rupert Allason, who served as the Member of Parliament for Torbay from 1987 to 1997.  His many books include VENONA: The Greatest Secret of the Cold War; On Her Majesty’s Secret Service: The Chiefs of Britain’s Intelligence Agency, MI6; The Faber Book of Espionage. Mr. West was educated at a Roman Catholic monastery and London University.
