Is Russia Entering an Economic Crisis?

A talk with Birgit Hansl from the World Bank and Anders Aslund from the Atlantic Council

In this presentation, Birgit Hansl will present key messages from the latest edition of the World Bank’s Russia Economic Report (RER), “Balancing Economic Adjustment and Transformation.”

The report is a synthesis of (1) recent economic developments, (2) the economic outlook for the coming year, and (3) an in-depth look at a special topic – namely, the macro-fiscal impact of Russia’s long-term simultaneous demographic and economic transformation.
