Lutz Raphael, Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Trier and the Gerda Henkel Visiting Professor at the LSE and the GHI London in the academic year 2015-16, will deliver the keynote lecture of the German Historical Institute’s symposium, “The Historian and the World – the Worlds of History: Positions, Politics, and Purposes in the 21st Century.”
