The National History Center of the American Historical Association will hold a Congressional briefing on Friday, January 23 on the Ukraine crisis in historical perspective. Professor Timothy Snyder of Yale University and Professor Mark Von Hagen of Arizona State University will discuss the historical roots of the current Ukrainian-Russian war and its larger regional implications. Professor Dane Kennedy, Director of the National History Center, will moderate the discussion.
The briefing will be held on Friday, January 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center, SVC 200, East Capitol St and First St SE, Washington, DC. Please note that all visitors to the Capitol Visitors Center must go through airport-style security and that lines can be long.
